FAQ

Magnifina is a Registered Investment Advisor which means we help clients choose their investments. Our main service is managing our clients’ investment portfolios. We select the stocks, bonds, and other securities that appear best for each of our clients and their unique needs. This service includes placing the actual trades and handling much of the related paperwork for our clients.

Nowadays, “Investing is the new Saving”, but everything is much more complicated than it used to be. There are literally thousands of potential investments and while some may be extremely profitable, others may go bankrupt. Magnifina brings dedicated expertise and experience to maximize wealth while minimizing risk, in accordance with each of our client’s needs.

As soon as possible. Due to compound returns effect, there are increasing benefits the longer investments are held. This exponential growth is realized at the end of the investment, when it is liquidated back into cash. If you know about a large expense ahead of time, for example college tuition or retirement, the more you can invest upfront the more you’ll have when you need it.

We feel that professional investment management services are essential these days and therefore we do not require a significant minimum commitment. Nevertheless, our service is best suited for portfolios over $50,000 and we encourage clients with less to save aggressively up to this level. Generally, we only present special alternative investment opportunities to clients with over $1 million under our management.

Our clients include people just beginning to invest as well as wealthy individuals and institutions. Many of our clients entrust their primary retirement account with us. We are proud to represent a diverse range of clients and to tailor our service to their individual needs.

Simply give us a call at 800-732-0818 or an email using our contact form. Even better, you can book an introductory meeting directly with an advisor. We’ll have a quick chat about your needs and set up a time to meet in person or by video conference.

Magnifina, as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), is Fiduciary which means we have a legal obligation to act in the best interest of our clients. We take this duty extremely seriously and maintain a Code of Ethics to meet our obligations. Our Code of Ethics is available upon request.

Not every financial professional is a Fiduciary. It is critical to find this out about anyone offering financial advice.

For more information, see this video by Tony Robbins. (We are not dual-registered as a broker/dealer).

Magnifina partners with qualified custodians who are responsible for securing our client assets. The accounts at broker-dealers we work with are insured by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). This insurance covers up to $500,000 per brokerage account.

Insurance does not cover market losses. Securities and investment advisory products are not guaranteed and may lose value.

At this time Magnifina only accepts clients who are US citizens, green card holders, or other permanent residents.

While we cannot provide advice regarding an EB-5 investment, we can accept clients with the provisional green card it confers.

Some types of visa include the ability to apply for permanent residency, for example the H-1B visa. Resources for persons seeking H-1B visas can be found at h1bexpert.com. Expert opinion letters may be obtained from profval.com.

Magnifina is a combination of the words Magnify and Finance. We pronounce it like Mag-ni-fee-na.
