This Privacy Policy explains how Magnifina, LLC (“Magnifina,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit https://magnifina.com (the “Website”). It applies to the Website only.
California, Nevada, and other state residents: See Section 12 for state-specific privacy rights, including the right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Scope and Relationship to Other Notices
This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Website.
If you become a client of Magnifina, the personal information you provide in connection with our investment advisory services is governed by a separate privacy notice that we provide before initiating a client relationship, in accordance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”) and SEC Regulation S-P. The advisory privacy notice — not this policy — governs nonpublic personal information collected for advisory services.
This Privacy Policy works alongside our Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference.
2. Information We Collect

- Newsletter subscription information (email address, and any other information you choose to provide);
- Survey responses, when you participate in surveys we may offer;
- Scheduling information when you book a meeting through our scheduling tool (name, email, time zone, and any meeting context you provide).
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Website, certain information is collected automatically by us and our service providers:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, language preference, operating system, device type, screen size;

This information may be used by those companies for conversion measurement, analytics, and audience-building related to our advertising;
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from analytics, advertising, and security providers that help us operate the Website. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

We use the following service providers, each of which processes personal information on our behalf for the purposes described:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Elementor Ltd. (Elementor Hosting) | Website hosting and platform infrastructure |
| Google Cloud Platform | Underlying cloud infrastructure for Elementor Hosting (origin servers in Belgium) |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Content delivery network, security, bot detection, and DDoS protection |
| Google LLC (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Site Kit) | Website analytics and tag management |

We require service providers to handle personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, and to use it only for the purposes for which we engage them.
4.2 Advertising Partners
We use advertising tags from the following companies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to support advertising-related functions. These companies are not “service providers” in the legal sense; they may process the data they receive for their own business purposes, subject to their own privacy policies:
- LinkedIn Corporation — we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure conversions from our LinkedIn advertising. Information transmitted to LinkedIn may be used by LinkedIn for cross-context behavioral advertising and audience-building purposes.
- Google LLC (Google Ads) — Google Ads tags are present on the Website to support conversion measurement and advertising functions. Information transmitted to Google may be used by Google for cross-context behavioral advertising and audience-building purposes.
Under California law, the use of these advertising tags may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out as described in Section 12.
4.3 Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
5. Disclosures Required by Law or to Protect Rights
We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- enforce our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy;
- detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of Magnifina, our clients, our visitors, or others;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary: required for the Website to function, including security and load balancing (Cloudflare);
- Analytics: to understand how visitors use the Website (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager);
- Advertising and conversion measurement: to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and support related advertising functions (LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads tags);
- Functional: to remember preferences and improve the user experience.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. If you disable cookies, some features of the Website may not function properly.
We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for visitors in jurisdictions where this is required. When we receive a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles or pages on the Website may include embedded content (for example, YouTube videos). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited the third-party website directly. These third parties may collect data about you, use cookies, and embed additional third-party tracking, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
8. Links to External Sites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.
9. Where Your Information Is Processed
The Website is hosted on Elementor Hosting, which uses Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with origin servers located in Belgium. Cloudflare’s content delivery network may serve cached content from edge servers worldwide, including locations in the United States and elsewhere. Some of our service providers (including Transpond and Capsule CRM) may process information in the European Union or other jurisdictions, and these providers represent that they comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where it applies.
By using the Website, you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, and that data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. Specifically:
- Inquiries and contact form submissions are retained in our CRM for as long as we reasonably believe the contact relationship may continue or as needed to respond to your inquiry, unless you request deletion;
- Newsletter subscription information is retained until you unsubscribe;
- Automated access and security logs are retained for a reasonable period determined by our operational and security needs, typically not longer than necessary for those purposes;
- Advertising and analytics data is retained according to the policies of our advertising and analytics providers (LinkedIn, Google) and our own configuration of those services;
- Aggregated and de-identified information may be retained indefinitely.
You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 11.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to know: to know what personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties to whom it has been disclosed;

- Right against discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
To submit a privacy request, please contact us by mail at the address in Section 14 (Attn: Privacy). Include your name, the email address or other identifier you used to interact with the Website, and a clear description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. 12. State-Specific Rights
12.1 Right to Opt Out of Sharing for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising
As described in Section 4.2, advertising tags on the Website transmit personal information to LinkedIn and Google for advertising-related purposes. Under California, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia, and other state privacy laws, this may constitute “sharing” or “targeted advertising.”
You may opt out by:
- enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor automatically;
- adjusting your browser cookie settings to refuse advertising cookies;
- using LinkedIn’s and Google’s own opt-out tools (LinkedIn Ad Settings; Google Ads Settings); or
- contacting us by mail at the address in Section 14 (Attn: Privacy) with a request to opt out.
12.2 California Residents
In addition to the rights in Section 11, California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”):

- Sources of this information: directly from you; automatically from your device and browser; from our service providers and advertising partners.
- Business and commercial purposes for collection: those described in Section 3.
- Categories of third parties to whom personal information has been disclosed: those described in Section 4.
- Categories of personal information “sold” or “shared”: we do not sell personal information; we share identifiers and internet activity information with LinkedIn and Google for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
- “Shine the Light” (California Civil Code § 1798.83): California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not currently make such disclosures.
12.3 Nevada Residents
Under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, Nevada residents have the right to opt out of the sale of certain “covered information” for monetary consideration. We do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. To submit a verified request, contact us by mail at the address in Section 14 (Attn: Privacy).
12.4 Washington Residents
Washington’s My Health My Data Act (“MHMDA”) regulates the collection of “consumer health data.” We do not collect, use, or share consumer health data as defined by MHMDA. The Website is not directed to consumer health information, and we do not knowingly process such data through the Website.
12.5 Other States
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights generally consistent with those described in Section 11. To exercise any of these rights, contact us by mail at the address in Section 14 (Attn: Privacy).
13. Children’s Privacy
The Website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) or under 16 (consistent with applicable state laws regarding the sharing of minors’ information). If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at the address in Section 14 and we will delete it.
14. Security and Contact
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, infrastructure-level security from Cloudflare and Google Cloud, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
