Chief Investment Officer
Asher has managed investment portfolios as a primary occupation since 2009, as well as overseeing his personal portfolio since 1996. He founded Magnifina because he wanted to share his passion for investments with others, particularly those who had traditionally been overlooked by the finance industry.
Prior to Magnifina, Asher co-managed Bloomsbury Partners, a private investment company, and grew its assets to over $25 million. Before that, he was an Assistant Vice President on the foreign exchange trading desk at HSBC.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College, where he double majored in English Literature and Economics. Raised in Seattle, he is also an avid skier and sails regularly from North Cove in lower Manhattan.
